Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Coach is to assist with the general management and development of the Women’s Soccer team, while promoting a balance between athletics and academics. Overall responsibilities include recruitment of talented student-athletes; assisting with pre-season and post-season conditioning and related activities and coaching of in-season practices and contests. The successful candidate will work closely and effectively with the head coach and athletics administrators as well as project and represent the College in a positive and professional manner.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Extensive knowledge of soccer and its rules and regulations • Ability to actively participate in practice sessions • Knowledge of HVIAC and USCAA rules and regulations • Ability to work nights and weekends • Willingness to travel

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree required • Previous Collegiate or High school coaching experience • Previous Collegiate playing experience preferred • Up to date CPR and AED certifications • Appropriate Coaching certifications
