Well established, commercial construction firm in New York’s Capital Region seeking seasoned Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join its team, as a result of unprecedented growth.

The Project Manager position will oversee all aspects of construction projects they are assigned to. These positions are reserved for driven and conscientious professionals able to thoughtfully manage client needs while producing quality results. To be successful in these positions, individuals must possess proven project management experience; readily display the ability to accurately understand detailed project requirements, have a track record for meeting or exceeding schedule and budgetary requirements, demonstrate a true understanding of constructability and sequencing, and enjoy the responsibility of developing and maintain longstanding client and vendor relations. The ability to perform quantity take-off and pricing of multiple construction divisions independently is strongly preferred.

Project Management positions are supported by administrative and assistant project management personnel and generally require the management of multiple projects simultaneously. These positions may also provide oversight to projects assigned to junior staff members.

Requirements

To qualify for a Project Manager position, a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry, with specific experience consistently managing moderate sized projects is required (budgets of $3 million or more). The ability to estimate, price, and qualify subcontractor scopes independently is strongly preferred.
