The opportunity

With rapid growth across digital selling, we are looking for people in several focused areas. These include sales strategy, sales process design, sales operations and sales technology delivery. We are seeking individual with functional business and technology skills in CRM, CPQ and CLM, with a focus on leading platforms like SFDC, MS Dynamics and PROS. You will work in a truly leading-edge environment, surrounded by some of the most engaging and knowledgeable colleagues in the business. Your key responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work on a dynamic mix of projects helping our clients solve some of their most pressing issues. Working in diverse, inclusive teams to build relationships with our clients, you’ll deliver innovative high quality work products. As a Manager, you will oversee the design and implementation of the overall sales strategy, sales processes, sales operations, functional requirements, sales technology strategy, and execution plan as you deliver the project end-to-end, partnering with EY’s technology resources on client service delivery.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Ability to act as an advocate and leader in the strategic design process of projects, owning the overall sales strategy, process and technology for clients across multiple industries.

  • Knowledge of sales leading practices, processes and technologies to help drive customer-centric solutions for helping clients reinvent their future state sales strategy.

  • Previous experience working with sales leadership to develop and implement actionable, measurable projects and programs that accelerate sales growth and improve overall sales productivity.

  • Demonstrated understanding of sales solutions, working with clients to assess their current digital technology maturity, identify gaps and shape a comprehensive end-to-end sales technology roadmap.

  • Demonstrated understanding of market leading sales technologies across CRM, CPQ and CLM.

  • Previous experience with technology sourcing and selection activities on digital transformation programs, working with 3rd party vendors to identify sales solution options for digital sales transformations.

  • Demonstrated understanding of delivering end-to-end technology programs from inception to go-live and ability to bring lessons learned to accelerate our ability to successfully deliver engagements.

  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of key trends and associated technical capabilities in order to liaise with both business and IT stakeholders around management of the overall sales strategy, processes and needed technologies.

  • Ability to own and independently manage client stakeholders at various executive levels all while providing strategic guidance that upholds the vision of the sales strategy and guiding principles of the overall digital transformation roadmap.

  • Experience creating a culture of relentless improvement, driving a thirst for constant innovation and new thinking to improve the overall experience for customers across all sales channels.

  • Ability to foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. You’ll play an active role in counselling and mentoring junior level consultants within the organization by providing structured, on-the-job feedback and creating meaningful experiences to develop your core consulting skills.

  • A valid passport and US driver’s license; willingness and ability to travel estimated 20 - 30% both domestically and internationally.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 5+ years of work experience in Sales Operations, Sales Technologies (including CRM, CPQ and CLM), Sales Solution Architecture, Sales Channel Marketing, or Customer Experience. Past experience in consulting, sales operations, sales technologies, customer sales or other relevant experience in a client facing role.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit who is excited by ambiguity, operates autonomously and makes informed decisions on the fly, and is grounded in helping sales organizations address their entire spectrum of needs across people, process and technology.

  • Knowledge of key Sales CRM technology solutions (i.e. Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics); CPQ technology solutions (i.e. PROS, SFDC CPQ, Oracle CPQ); and CLM technology solutions (i.e., Conga, SirionLabs, Docusign, etc.) and experience implementing such solutions for clients across different industries. Certification in any of the above technologies is a plus.

  • Advanced knowledge of industry trends, best practices and technological innovations to refine/evolve sales strategies accordingly.

  • Experience with helping organizations deliver a differentiated customer experience addressing both their sales and service needs.

  • People management experience with both project teams and individual direct reports.
