Our Marketing practice within Business Transformation specializes in Customer-oriented strategy development, marketing operations and accelerating customer data/technology. We strive to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for clients and tangible shareholder value.

The opportunity

As a Senior Manager in our Marketing consulting team, you will use your marketing skills and industry expertise to deliver complex, multi-part client engagements to drive our clients’ success.

Whether you’re helping a client on optimizing its marketing operating model, launching a new solution or providing insights on marketing cost reduction, you will work on a dynamic mix of projects helping our clients solve some of their most pressing issues designing and implementing the future of marketing.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work on a dynamic mix of projects helping our clients solve some of their most pressing issues. Working in diverse and inclusive teams, you’ll deliver innovative high-quality work products. As a Manager, you will work with business leaders and client executives to deliver marketing transformation projects to deliver tangible improvements in topline growth.

You will use your skills in marketing operating model, digital marketing, customer segmentation, growth strategy, branding, marketing operations and marketing technology to deliver quality client services to some of the top companies in the world. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Understand EY and its offerings and help assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop relationships with team members across EY to serve client needs.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of work experience in customer and marketing strategy, marketing operations and/or customer data and technology.

  • Demonstrated expertise in at least 3-5 of the following specialties: segmentation, new growth and go-to-market strategies, marketing ROI calculation, marketing operating model, marketing cost reduction, brand strategy, customer data management or marketing technology.

  • Significant knowledge of B2B or B2C marketing leading practices, processes and technologies to help drive customer-centric solutions while reinventing their marketing strategy and operating model

  • Experience working in marketing, customer-driven and/or growth projects within technology, telecom, media/entertainment OR consumer products/retail industry is required.

  • Experience leading marketing initiatives across multiple business units on a global scale

  • Significant people management experience with leading project teams and managing direct reports within an organization.

  • Ability to support business development opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle.

  • Ability to foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment, playing an active role in mentoring junior level consultants within the organization

  • A valid passport and US driver’s license; willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally to meet client needs.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Past experience in strategy or business consulting,

  • Significant experience working in the marketing practice of a Fortune 500 firm, or within a marketing agency in a client-facing role What we look for
