Have you harnessed video and audio mediums to reach viral heights and educate founders? If you believe in helping startups to change the world, and love to shepherd a story from start to finish, developing, managing, writing, editing, and producing content, we want to hear from you.

AWS is the industry’s leading cloud computing platform: the world’s most successful startups are built on top of AWS including more than 90% of the Y Combinator Top 100 and more than 90% of Forbes Next Billion Dollar Companies. But these startups don’t get there on their own: they need your help.

The AWS Startup Marketing Team is looking for an editorial leader to own and refine the AWS’s global startup voice and its implementation across our blog, newsletter, events, social channels, and more. In this role, you have the opportunity to develop a tangible, curated, and ever-deepening relationship with startup customers and prospects to provide them with opportunities to showcase themselves as they begin and broaden their long-term relationship with AWS. This role will be the primary owner of our Editorial calendar, partner internal and external stakeholders to identify the most interesting and relevant stories from up-and-coming and underrepresented founders, build the ultimate content resource for startups around the globe, and launch outbound campaigns to drive traffic to it. You will be a steward of startup customer needs to drive positioning of AWS startup programs as the primary entry point and evergreen resource for startups.

Achieving this will require creating and curating content with a strong sense of the independent tone and voice of the startup community, developing a strong offering of business resources to inspire, engage, and educate the startup community. You will source, produce, and curate content assets, gather feedback from startup customers, and create engagement programs that startups would find unique and valuable, with the goal of forming lifelong relationships with them. The successful candidate for this role should possess not only strong creative instincts, but also a sense of timing and rhythm to ensure each story is released at the optimal opportunity. This person has the deep operating ability to ensure consistency in engagements, coordination of activities and the ability to develop strategy, plan, manage, and measure impact.
