Vontier Financial Services Business Analyst in Albany, New York
This position can be based at our headquarters in Stow, Ohio, or work remotely. A candidate residing within a commutable distance from Stow, Ohio will be expected to work on site Tuesdays through Thursdays, and work from home Mondays and Fridays.

We are looking for an individual who wants to help our business answer its biggest questions through analysis of key processes and opportunities which will empower teams to make fast and effective decisions. The successful candidate will have experience working with data and reporting to drive business decisions, documenting processes and procedures, communicating clearly with business leaders, and have a desire to identify areas for improvement.
You will be working within the Financial Services team that supports over 1,900 Matco franchisees and 80,000 technician accounts, reporting to the Director of Financial Services. The role will be based in our Stow office location on a hybrid model. Remote location with occasional travel will be considered as well.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a key member of the Financial Services team, your contribution to the overall customer and employee experience will be instrumental. Key responsibilities will include:
Partner closely with functional teams and other organizations to understand business requirements and deliver new insights that help teams meet business objectives.
Support key business initiatives and improvement events with process and procedure documentation, analytical support on business functions, process improvement, and transformational initiatives.
Effectively manage workload and ensure that the highest impact activities are prioritized.
Develop process, documentation, and reporting best practices and deploy processes across the business.
Other ad-hoc analysis as required

To be successful in this role the below qualifications apply:
3-5 years experience working in process improvement and business analytics preferred
Organizational, process analysis, documentation skills; detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities
Experience in lending / credit is desirable as well as Oracle experience
Strong desire to learn business processes and understand the questions we need to answer
Works well in ambiguous situations; problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
Highly motivated, collaborative working style with a focus on building strong relationships
PowerPoint and Excel experience
Bachelor’s degree
