SAP Controls / Manager

Use your SAP and business process knowledge to help companies strategically enhance their internal control environment. We work side-by-side our client’s to help them better understand risk within their business and, together, develop innovative solutions to design, implement and monitor controls. By enabling a more effective controls environment, we give our client’s the confidence they need to effectively grow and expand their business.

The opportunity

Our SAP controls practice is expanding as companies continue to search for better, innovative ways to increase confidence in their reporting processes while lowering compliance costs. Which means, we need you. We need Managers to help lead our EY teams through complex questions facing our clients and create critical solutions for the market place.

Your key responsibilities

Leveraging your knowledge of IT environments and industry trends, you will work closely across competencies, service lines and sectors to develop innovation solutions to build and sustain risk management and governance programs for our clients. You will lead EY teams responsible for transforming risk functions and implementing leading practice technology solutions.

You will have the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value-add analytics solutions. In excelling at gathering business requirements and discussing business problems, you will collaborate with various functional areas within an organization

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree and related work experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrate an understanding of SAP business processes (e.g., purchase-to-pay, record-to-report, order-to-cash)

  • Experience with controls testing, sensitive access and segregation of duties testing

  • Advanced project management and client service skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent leadership and teaming skills

  • A valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally to meet client needs

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Industry related certification (e.g., CPA/CA, CISA, RICS)

  • Strong understanding of IT industry trends
