Guidehouse Intranet and Digital Communication Manager in Albany, New York

We are seeking a proactive, creative, and experienced professional to join our internal communications team as the Manager, Intranet and Digital Communications. In this role, you will oversee Guidehouse’s intranet (The Hub) and other digital platforms (e.g., digital signage) from strategy through execution to ensure a strong governance and support model, active channel maturity and improvement plans, and, in partnership with others from the internal communications team, steady flow of engaging news and information across our channels consistent with our global communications strategy. You will also develop consistent metrics and dashboards for reporting results to the business. This role reports to the Associate Director, Internal Communications and requires strong collaboration across our global business.


  • Manage The Hub (Unily) and digital signage (ScreenCloud) strategy and governance model, with specific focus on opportunities for improvement, enhancement, and efficiency.

  • Project manage and lead the integration and roll out of the intranet and digital signage to all Guidehouse global teams and in support of any M&A activity.

  • Develop and execute the intranet roadmap and improvement plan, reviewing new features and functionality and determining prioritization for testing and implementing as part of improving the overall intranet experience that support the business’ evolving requirements.

  • Lead Guidehouse’s network of 150+ site editors and content contributors to help create informative and engaging virtual spaces for our people, including offering monthly live training sessions and office hours. Administer training, onboarding, and technical support for this network.

  • Deliver engaging intranet sites that support our internal stakeholder needs. Ensure alignment with IT on technology best practices and customer support.

  • Establish content review cycle procedures to guarantee intranet content is routinely updated, maintained, and archived.

  • In collaboration with the creative and brand teams, create intranet and digital signage templates that are in line with Guidehouse brand standards and consistent across teams and departments. Create new templates based on business need.

  • Oversee our company distribution lists in collaboration with IT. Identify new list requirements and manage the creation/review cycle.

  • Monitor analytics and conduct research to identify areas for improvement, producing recommendations for increasing engagement and functionality of the intranet. Actively seek feedback from both users and key stakeholders to continuously evolve and improve our channel management.

  • In line with best practices, develop monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc dashboards to report on internal communications metrics and analytics across channels.

  • Prior experience managing an intranet, website, or blog; comfort with contemporary web-based technology. Experience with Unily, Staffbase Email (Bananatag), or ScreenCloud or similar SaaS solutions a plus.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Comfort presenting information and leading a broad group of collaborators.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills in a fast-paced, fluid environment; PMP or Project Management certification a plus.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while coordinating efforts across teams.

  • Basic understanding of the components of common web technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript)

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience managing internal communications or managing a web-based technology like an intranet.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or similar experience.

  • Experience working at a geographically disperse and global organization. Experience in a professional services environment a plus.
