Responsibilities

This role is focused on executing marketing programs that support the firm’s business and revenue goals within the Energy, Sustainability, & Infrastructure segment. The person in this role will support a variety of external and internal programs including social media, website content management, client focused events, thought leadership creation, and partnerships – with an emphasis on planning and executing internal and external events and event sponsorships (both in-person and virtual). Critical to the role are a proven track record in exceptional project management, communication, and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities. This individual must be able to work independently and take ownership of various marketing initiatives and operations including meeting and event logistics and administration. We are looking for a marketing professional with strong organizational skills, a love for meeting / event management, outstanding customer service skills, who is enthusiastic, and detail oriented to:

  • Support the planning and execution of sponsored industry conferences and client events. This could include being the POC with practice teams, meeting planning, on-site meeting management, managing conference sponsorships, and metrics.

  • Proactively collect, track, and report marketing program ROI.

  • Manage segment specific content updates on the firm’s internal and external websites, including writing and editing content.

  • Manage third party vendor and industry organization relationships.

  • Develop, execute, and support practice marketing programs that drive sales and lead generation for the segment including writing and editing content

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.

  • Ten plus years marketing and communications experience in a mix of either a professional services, consulting, technology or energy related services or B2B services environment.

  • Previous experience in consulting required

  • A passion for or experience in the critical, complex, and ever-evolving energy, sustainability, or infrastructure industries required

  • Account Based Marketing experience preferred

  • Global marketing experience preferred

  • Strong skills in InDesign and Microsoft Office including PowerPoint preferred

  • Experience running SEO campaigns, including Google AdWords pay-per-click campaigns preferred

  • Public sector marketing experience a plus

  • Market Research or Analyst Firm experience a plus

  • Management experience a plus

  • Previous lead generation experience and demonstrated success with lead gen programs.

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt communications to different audiences.

  • Ability to organize and analyze data.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of management.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where collaboration is necessary, and accountability is expected.

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions independently.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher.

  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.

Additional Requirements

Salary Ranges: $75,000-$95,000 depending upon experience
