As a Client Partner on the Major Accounts team, you’ll own maximizing the audience and context potential for 5-10 of our key clients at Oracle Data Cloud. The Major Accounts team works with our largest global brands that buy our solutions for audience, contextual targeting and brand safety.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with sales and digital marketing
experience with agencies, clients, ad tech platforms and media partners. The right candidate will be motivated by building new relationships, identifying and clearing hurdles to growth, collaborating with other product sales teams and expanding the overall opportunity with their clients.

Key responsibilities include:
Ownership of set of clients across several verticals (Retail, CPG, Tech, Auto,
Telco, etc.). Your primary goal is to create new relationships that deepen our
engagement with our Clients and their Agencies and Channel Partners,
facilitating product adoption via a consultative, client-success driven approach.
As our Major Accounts comprise some of our largest and most complex clients at ODC, your ability to collaborate effectively with other sales leads will be
essential. While we thrive on being laser-focused on the right products and
actions by team, we also must ensure that we present a unified, coordinated
front to our clients.
In partnership with our Account Management team and other product teams, you will craft an approach to deepening relationships, engagement and adoption that helps brands drive successful digital marketing outcomes – and thereby helps ODC to become “core infrastructure” – that is, turn ODC into an integral partner in their success.
Skills and Qualifications:
Sales experience calling on client, agency, ad tech or media partners driving
revenue growth and successful outcomes for their marketing programs.
Specific experience with digital media and leveraging 3p and contextual/brand
safety data is strongly preferred.
Ability to prioritize is key – focusing on products, relationships and work that
most directly fosters growth, while deprioritizing less urgent or relevant
Must be very outgoing and persistent – with the drive, research skills and
influencer identification abilities to establish new client/agency relationships.
Ideal candidate will thrive on a “hunting” mindset and be motivated by creating
breakthroughs with the client and their key agency teams.
Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills that can juggle
many client/agency relationships and activities at a time.
The ability to embrace a data-driven approach is essential to success.
Willingness to track and optimize activity via CRM system is key.
Strong interpersonal skills, positivity and the ability to embrace change
effectively are critical to success. This includes ability to effectively collaborate
with other teams to create joint wins, and to empower your Account
Management team to own the day-to-day relationship.
Ability to work effectively with a seasoned Account Manager is highly important
to success – building a trusted partnership between sales (to build and deepen
the relationship set) and Account Management (to develop and execute the
strategy to delight key stakeholders, increase product adoption and revenue
Team mentality: ability to work effectively with the ODC team to identify best
practices, work through key hurdles, and drive towards growth across all
accounts – not just those you own.
Has effective “edge” – ability to push back when needed and challenge the
process while deepening external and internal relationships
BA/BS degree required

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.
Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 5 years of related experience. Secondary education in Marketing or a related field preferred.
