Instructors needed for this location:
Kayaking
SUP
Archery
Map & Compass
Fly Casting
Skills and Qualifications:
First Aid/CPR training
Participates in all required pre- and mid-season training sessions
Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and encourage participants
Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Established time management and organization skills
Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, motivation and positive attitude
Knowledge of active gear for the activity you are teaching
Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends and holidays
Preferred:
Certification or specialized training in outdoor related activities
Proven experience planning, organizing and leading outdoor experience trips
Retail experience
Course Curriculum:
Is willing to develop technical skills and a firm understanding of course content
Possesses the ability to teach in a relaxed, clear and confident manner to a variety of participants and skill levels
Effectively balances leadership and delivers all components of the curriculum in the allotted time
Comfortable speaking to groups while delivering course material
Completes daily paperwork

Reports all unsafe acts, conditions, or equipment to management

Provides professional and timely feedback to colleagues as needed
Seeks to learn and share knowledge of skills, interpretive facts, equipment and proper use with peers, colleagues and participantsEducation Level: High School or GED
