Overview

Bergmann, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design is currently seeking a Project Architect to join our Northeast Buildings team in Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

manufacturers to determine costs and best product
\* Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure design QA/QC
\* Coordinate and collaborate with other design professionals (in-house or subcon-tractors) who are part of the project team
\* Attend client meetings and take meeting minutes
\* Respond and review RFIs and submittals
\* Participate in the creation of proposal and/or client meeting materials
\* Delegate and oversee tasks assigned to Intern Architects and Summer Interns
\* May conduct site visits for construction administration duties
\* May assist in managing budget hours assigned by Project Manager
\* May assist Project Manager in work plan and budgeting
\* May work directly with client in project coordination, feedback, and input
\* May be required to perform field inspections, research, measurements or calcula-tions
\* May serve as on-site project representative
\* Establish & maintain positive relationships with co-workers, support and build oth-ers on the team and across disciplines/offices
\* Be responsive to others and share information to improve efficiency and help oth-ers achieve goals; listen and engage in productive and critical debate
\* Suggest new ideas and processes; stay informed of developments in practice areas; view obstacles as opportunities

Qualifications

\* Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university required
\* Four years of architectural experience
\* Registered Architect in New York State
\* Proficient in use and understanding of the appropriate REVIT /CADsoftware
\* Able to make design decisions independently
