Resource Management Assistant Director - National Consulting

Our Experience Management (EM) team is committed to providing our people with relevant experiences to promote career development and growth. As an Experience Manager, you’ll be networking and identifying talent with specific skill sets and interests to build diverse teams supporting our clients. You’ll build relationships at all levels and be a trusted business advisor to our business leaders. You’ll also interact with various business functions, including finance, human resources and business development, and be a crucial piece in helping to drive our business in meeting strategic goals.

The opportunity

Provide actionable insights and analysis to a broad stakeholder base: EM, Client Serving, Leadership and various enabling teams. This role requires a high degree of familiarity of Power BI with some knowledge of EY tools (e.g., Retain, MERA, EY Advance, Mercury) to support EM initiatives to deploy a population of approximately 18,000+ US client serving professionals.

Your key responsibilities

  • Participate in the forecasting process that helps resource management teams achieve maximum utilization of resource support.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets with a focus on data integrity and data insights, inclusive of the identification of erroneous source data from other enabling teams.

  • Develop and support Power BI solutions from ideation to production.

  • EY Advance: Support management of the back-end development and enhancement of the platform inclusive of primary and secondary data sources, data integrity, enhancement pipeline, dependencies, and execution and user training with the goal of presenting comprehensive data insights to maximize business impact and decision making.

  • Identify means of continual resource management process improvements along with developing and sharing leading practices across subareas.

  • Build relationships and communicate continually with client service personnel to identify personal schedule preferences and/or career development issues.

  • May meet with senior leadership to discuss staffing requirements for their clients and to gain an understanding of specific engagements needs and details.

  • Counsel supported personnel as needed/requested; raise individual issues to appropriate leadership.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 8-10 plus years of experience. Experience in a professional services firm desired

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Proficiency in use of scheduling tool and other Microsoft applications

  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks; strong organizational skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Supervisory experience

  • Power BI development with some knowledge of writing DAX formulas, Power Query, Implementing Row-level security, Data Modeling, Data Visualization best practices

  • Azure products and services (e.g., Azure Data Factory)

  • Microsoft Power Apps
