Our team is seeking a seasoned, individual contributor Product Strategy Director to take a key role in defining a new generation of Finance business processes around record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-subscription, optimizing working capital, and plan-to-forecast. As organizations increasingly embrace a process-focused operating model, end-to-end global process owners (GPOs) have become a key role in the management and development of business. We’re relying on your finance knowledge and practitioner credibility to articulate the importance of technology, process and people strategy to standardize systems, measures, metrics and reporting. You will partner closely with fellow product managers, Oracle Finance, engineering, UX, and product marketing resources to deliver innovative cloud ERP services that customers need and love.

You are a hands-on product strategist with proven finance experience.
You embrace data, business process and insight-driven organizational needs. You use ERP products and services and can articulate their benefits and capabilities to optimize accounting operations, financial reporting and management reporting. You can articulate your point of view for the future of finance. You are comfortable to jump in with IT or development teams on technical discussions. You are equally capable of deep dives with customer executives about their process challenges and explore solutions.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
7 years of relevant professional experience in finance with end-to-end global process ownership.
Act as a process champion and spokesperson within the organization.
Strong ability to translate finance strategy into process maps, objectives, activities, tasks and key results deliverables.
Hands-on experience implementing integrated, scalable, and automated ERP, RPA and reporting systems.
Proven experience to build collaborative relationships with all finance roles including accounting managers, controllers, auditors, FP&A directors, and treasurers.
Excellent writing, presentation and analytical skills, including initiative proposals, scorecards, and performance benchmark deliverables.
Outstanding communication with C-level executives to convey technical concepts with simplicity and clarity to global FP&A, Controller and Business Operations audiences.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
