If you are currently attending Columbia College and interested in the Summer Intern Navab Fellowship Program, we want to hear from you! This position provides clerical assistance to various administrative departments, including the Library, Records, Accounting, and Operations.

This Summer Internship will be 6- 8 weeks in duration starting June 2021.

This position is entirely remote however please note this position will be supporting the west coast time zone. In order to be considered for this position, you must work from a state in which DLA Piper has an office (https://www.dlapiper.com/en/us/locations/).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a college degree program at Columbia College

  • Must have an interest in gaining practical work experience

  • Good technical skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Good attention-to-detail and organizational skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and meet deadlines

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous office or internship experience

What will your day look like?

You will participate in meetings to gain an understanding of the department objectives and activities, and assist on special projects and assignments. As a part of your daily tasks, you will perform administrative duties to include creating and editing documents, maintaining spreadsheets, and analyzing basic data. You will collate documents, brochures, or other materials and prepare basic correspondence, and research information, gather data, and prepare basic reports or analyses.
