Responsibilities
User Experience Design Consultants are instrumental in creating impactful digital experiences and products for our commercial and public sector clients. User Experience designers support clients and account teams through end to end design and development of digital products, including websites, applications, and other interactive touchpoints. UX designers will incorporate strong program management, communication planning, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, process improvement, and performance management to deliver top notch products.
Responsibilities:
Support User Experience Design Workstream
Support a digital design workstream as part of a larger engagement
Support and develop work products from start to finish (from brainstorming and framework development to final edits and end-product)
Create low-fidelity wireframes
Conduct user research, using quantitative and qualitative methods
Conduct usability testing
Understand and communicate user accessibility concepts and best practices
Conceptualize and execute data collection, analysis, and reporting
Support Client Engagement Activities
Develop impactful digital products that support client business needs
Develop trusted relationships with clients
Support communications for internal and external client stakeholders
Provide weekly status updates on project progress to project manager and/or client
Demonstrate Professionalism & Teamwork
Understand firm capabilities and solutions
Lead with quality, including creating high quality work products and deliverables
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
1-3 years of professional experience
Knowledge of Experience Design concepts, including journey mapping, interviewing, and website design
Experience developing presentations, managing project plans, conducting research, and making recommendations for process improvement
Experience with user interface design & prototyping software, such as Figma, Miro, Sketch, InVision
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Professional Skills: Demonstrated critical thinking, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity and unstructured situations, and communication skills
US Citizenship
Ability to travel up to 20%
Pay Range: $60-90k/yr depending on experience
