Responsibilities
As part of our Workday Practice, you’ll be part of a new and energized team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technology. From initial assessments to entire transformations, you’ll deliver Workday Financial Management solutions equipping organizations with the information they need to make better business decisions.
As a Workday Financials Senior Consultant your career growth and a typical day may include:
Specializing and expanding your skill set within the Accounting and Finance pillar for Workday Financials
Keeping up to date with the latest thought leadership on Finance thinking, tools and techniques in your area of expertise
Understanding and applying the Workday and Guidehouse methodologies
Participating and leading in all stages of the Guidehouse Way methodology for implementing Workday Financial Management solutions
Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices
Responsible for the analysis, design, scheduling, construction and delivery of multiple products within the Workday Financial Management solution
Support the Financials Lead in architecting the Workday Financials solution to ensure cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated
Recognize business process inefficiencies and provide recommendations for improvements
Provide guidance, instruction, and coach more junior team members
Participate in business development activities
Qualifications
Required:
3+ years of financial consulting experience
3+ years of experience deploying Workday or other Financial systems such as Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft, SAP, or similar applications
Experience working with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking and Cash, or Business Assets
Proficient in business processes such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, or Budget to Report
Ability to translate business requirements into complex system configurations
Advanced analytical and technical skills evidenced by role in previous projects
Excellent communication, written and verbal
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize with little supervision
Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
Workday Specialty Certification such as Financial Data Model
Proficiency in multiple business processes
Experience working within the public sector
Experience working with Financial Statements
Accounting Degree
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
This position is open to candidates virtually from Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona or Eastern, Pacific, and Central time zones.
The base salary range for this position is $130K - $150K.
