Bonadio Group, The Human Resource Business Partner in Amherst, New York
Our team is seeking a talented Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) for the Buffalo, New York region (Amherst and East Aurora offices). The HRBP is a close advisor to the leadership team. A successful HRBP establishes a credible understanding of the business model, deploys capability to diagnose organizational needs and talent, consults with client groups on people strategies, develops and implements workforce planning, talent management, organizational design, and other human resource effectiveness strategies to improve business performance through people.
As HRBP you will collaborate on, and in some cases lead company-wide programs; specifically the firm-wide "Bonadio Inspired (culture) Program" and other initiatives including performance and compensation planning programs, workforce planning, people plan development, champion the organization’s culture and employee experience, develop practical local solutions to achieve business objectives through talent (engagement strategies, team effectiveness solutions, change leadership methods, programs to support the business areas key initiatives) and coach leaders to enhance their people leadership capabilities.
A key component of this role is in the use of human resource analytical tools and metrics to inform business decisions.
The HRBP will also ensure the quality of Human Resource service delivery through effective collaboration with our Human Resource specialist teams and consistent application of HR policies, processes and systems within groups supported.

Owns the New Hire Orientation Program to include all aspects of communication and continuous improvement along with the ability to travel to conduct this program.

Drive the implementation of the HR strategy in support of short and long-term business goals by building partnerships and alliances throughout the organization.
Represents HR at the business table while becoming a strategic partner and trusted advisor to Partners, Principals, leadership teams, and management teams.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
Guides and influences staff, key managers and officers on HR matters to ensure effective and compliant solutions.
Possesses exceptionally strong consulting and coaching skills.
Acts as a change agent by promoting and providing advice and support for organizational change
Monitors employee engagement levels and tracks trends in organizational health; Supports the implementation of cultures that drive innovation and employee engagement and inclusion in order to improve individual and organizational performance.
Provides a full range of HR consulting services and problem-solving including employee relations; compensation and rewards; organizational design and development, EEO/AA, talent acquisition, and performance management.
In partnership with the other HRBPs and HR Specialists (Total Rewards/Benefits, Staffing) to ensure the Total Rewards/Benefits and Staffing solutions are completed and implemented effectively. This includes, yet not limited to: Succession Planning, Performance Calibration, Development Planning, Assessments, Engagement Survey follow-up, appropriate Staffing levels, Career Fairs, Total Rewards implementation, and facilitation of leadership solutions.
Navigates organizational complexity and complex change.
Ability to use data driven business information (analytics), to extract insight from analysis and translate the impact of HR solutions via measurable results.
Project manages merger/acquisition due diligence and company integrations.
Works with business leaders to anticipate staffing needs, looks for proactive ways to find talent in the most cost effective manner.
Works independently and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws / regulations and corporate procedures and guidelines.
Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

A minimum of 5 years of experience with resolving complex employee relation issues
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws
Ability to travel to other company locations as needed (approximately 20%)
Valid Driver's License

Hours of Operation
Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday
We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however there will be times when additional hours may be needed
