This position provides delivery of accounting and bookkeeping services for multiple clients in a variety of industries. This is a non-traditional accounting position and does not require additional hours during busy season and offers a tremendous work life balance!ResponsibilitiesPerforming accounting services for clients inclusive of:- Manage bank and general ledger reconciliation(s)- Preparing sales tax returns- Perform month-end closings- Preparing trial balance and adjusting journal entries - Ability to work independently both in the office and at client locations- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality- Aptitude for learning and utilizing appropriate resources and technology- A passion for providing superior customer satisfaction- Effective interpersonal skills that would enable ongoing, daily client interaction and communication- Achieve consistent and outstanding client satisfactionQualificationsRequired:- A minimum of one year of small business accounting/bookkeeping experience- A minimum of an Associates degree in a related discipline- Computer expertise including proficiency with accounting software applications- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel- Must have reliable transportation with the ability to travel to client sites and other office locationsPreferred:- Experience working in a client service settingHours Of Operation:- Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday- Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on FridayAt The Bonadio Group, we believe that an inclusive work environment allows all of our people to achieve their greatest potential and the greatest results for our clients and communities.
