AHRC New York City Summer Camp - Maintenance Worker in Ancramdale, New York

QUALIFICATIONS Building and grounds maintenance experience. Must be over 18 years of age.

REPORT TO Assistant Head of Maintenance.

JOB GOAL To maintain the buildings and grounds of Camp Anne in an effort to keep all facilities in good working order.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work six days per week at Camp Anne as per the dates outlined in Work Agreement. Days and shifts to be arranged through the Asst Head of Maintenance.

  • Be responsible for the general repairs and maintenance needs of all Camp Anne facilities as directed by the Head of Maintenance.

  • Outdoor waste receptacles: empty all outdoor waste receptacles and replace plastic bags.

  • Be responsible for the equipment and supplies that are assigned to you. INSURE THAT NAILS, TOOLS, PAINT OR ANY HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ARE NOTLEFT IN REACH OF CAMPERS. SAFETY MUST BE YOUR FIRST CONCERN.

  • Constantly check all Camp Anne facilities to insure there are no safety or health hazards.

  • Share on duty responsibilities with other maintenance staff as scheduled by the Asst Head of Maintenance.

  • Attend all meetings as required by Camp administration.

  • Uphold and insure the implementations of all Camp Anne policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

  • Perform all other functions as requested by the Camp Administration.
