Tremont Rentals Tent Installation in Averill Park, New York

Tent Installer: 4 full-time, temporary, peak load (H-2B) jobs available 10/1/22-11/15/22. Employer: Tremont Rentals, 2897 NY Hwy 43, Averill Park, NY 12018. Duties: install tents and special event equipment with the use of power tools such as stake pullers and mechanical hammers, and forklift. Load and unload trucks with tables, chairs, and other equipment. Workers will not drive delivery truck but will assist drivers with delivery and dropoff of at special events and warehouses by helping load and unload trucks with tables, chairs, and other equipment. Assist with installation of lighting and assembly of dance floors based on client's specification. Wash special event tents, chairs, and tables. Clean event tents, chairs, and tables in preparation for end of season storage. Assist with packing event tents, chairs, and tables in preparation for end of season storage in company warehouse. Have the ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Work Hours: $17.91/per hour, based on experience. Overtime available at $26.87/per hour, based on hourly rate. 40 hours per week. 7:00AM to 5:00PM, M-F. Returning workers and workers with experience may be paid higher wage rates. Transportation to worksites from 2897 NY Hwy 43 Averill Park, NY 12018. No education required. No experience required. Will accept a trainee. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid biweekly. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer arranged housing is available at a weekly payroll deduction of $50.00 The offered housing is optional to workers. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $14/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
