PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under the direction of the Seed Research Supervisor, assists in implementing hybrid yield testing programs, product evaluation, and product performance trials.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists in planting seed variety evaluation plots.
Assists with organization of seed and other materials to facilitate the planting schedule.
Follows directions and protocols to meet quality requirements and schedules.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Provides excellent customer service to farmers.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Normally requires high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 0 years or more of related work experience.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Ability to work extended and early hours throughout the planting season.
Must have and maintain valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
