Job Title: Banquet Server

Job Summary: The Banquet Server performs all tasks associated with setting up, serving, and breaking down of all banquet rooms and outdoor spaces. He/She is responsible for the prompt, courteous, smooth and efficient service of food and beverage to guests during banquet events. Additionally work as a team to follow through with the proper and timely set-up and execution of banquet events.

General Accountabilities: * Set-up and breakdown of banquet rooms, patio and ceremony spaces. * Serve food and beverages in the correct manner. * Maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses. * Interact with guests-answer questions, anticipate needs. * Have knowledge of menu; ingredients, preparations, allergy contributors. * Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. * Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships. * Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently. * This job description reflects managements assessment of essential functions; however it does not prescribe nor restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Job Qualifications: * Education: High school diploma or equivalent. * Experience: Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.

Skills: * Excellent verbal and written communication. * Active listening. * Service orientation. * Coordination. * Social perceptiveness.

Physical Demands: Essential Duties require long periods of standing and walking as well as frequent reaching and kneeling, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting and moving objects 50lbs or more. Employee must have excellent communication skills. Work Environment: Duties are to be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, with events often taking place in the elements in all four seasons. Events involve loud music.
