Binghamton University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Division of Speech and Language Pathology, located at the newly renovated, state-of-the art health sciences campus in Johnson City, New York, is hiring for its Speech and Language Pathology program and invites applications for Clinical Instructor in the developing Division of Speech-Language Pathology. This is a ten-month position with a summer contract being required based on need. Binghamton University offers competitive salary and benefit package. The successful candidate will be a creative and collaborative individual who is responsible for teaching coursework (based on interests), providing therapy with community partners, supervising students in clinical settings, and engaging in scholarship or research. Additionally, the Clinical Instructor will assist the Director of Clinical Education and the Program Director in developing clinical programs in our campus facility that best serve the community and our future students.

Candidates will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP and be eligible or hold a license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in New York. The candidate will possess a Ph.D. or Masters in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences and Disorders. Applicants from a variety of backgrounds are welcome to apply. Special preference will be given to those candidates who:
Have experience with teaching and/or presenting professionally (in-service, research or other);
Have experience providing therapy to pre-school children, working in the school setting, or a medical setting.
Priority will be given to those candidates with more than three years of experience in the current setting or area of specialization
