JBay, LLC strives to provide extraordinary hospitality for members of its beach clubs in Breezy Point, NY and are looking for full-time variable (seasonal) associates to join our talented teams for the upcoming 2024 Summer Season. The anticipated first day of work will be in May 2024 and the last day is estimated to be in September 2024.Aquatics SupervisorSummary: The Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating programs, trainings, services and staff in accordance with company policies. Lead and direct all aquatics staff to ensure safe practices are always followed.ResponsibilitiesRecognize and respond quickly and efficiently in emergencies. Enforce all aquatic facility rules, regulations, and policiesMonitor the pools chemical balances to ensure it is maintained at proper PH and chlorine levelsManage all lifeguard lieutenants and lifeguards and create schedules for all staffMaintain fitness level regarding swimming skills, strength, and endurance of self and staffMake recommendations on needed equipment and supplies to management and prepare purchase requests as necessaryMaintain all pool chemical logs as requiredComplete all required paperwork for guest / associate injuries/incidents on the property, including first aid notice only incidents, and submit to management timely.Train and promote safe work practices according to company and industry standardsPolite, knowledgeable, and timely customer service when responding to visitor inquiries.RequirementsMust be a certified pool operator, or have the equivalent in experience and skillsCPR / AED / First Aid Certification required (child & adult)Lifeguarding / Lifesaving Certification requiredExcellent communication skillsStrong leadership skills: ability to delegate appropriate responsibilitiesMust be able to work independently or with little or no supervisionMust be able to work a variety of days, nights, weekends, and holiday shiftsMust be able to push - pull, lift - carry up to 50 lbs.Education & ExperienceEducation: Bachelors Degree preferredExperience: Minimum 2 years aquatics supervisory experience Resort/National Park Concession preferredHourly rate of pay $22.00/ $24.00, based upon experience.Apply online at the company's website.JBay LLC (recruitingbypaycor.com) All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
