JBay, LLC strives to provide extraordinary hospitality for members of its beach clubs in Breezy Point, NY and are looking for variable (seasonal) associates to join our talented teams for the upcoming 2024 Summer Season. This is a seasonal position and the anticipated first day of work is in May 2024 and the last day is estimated to be in September 2024. Grounds & Public Area AttendantResponsibilitiesClean public common areas, including restrooms, and other guest use areasProperly sanitize all assigned areasReport maintenance issues and damages promptly to supervisorAssist with housekeeping and laundry duties (if applicable) as assignedAssist with a variety of guest questions and requests as necessaryWork safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective EquipmentFollow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiativesRequirementsMust be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shiftsMust be able to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned tasksMust be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pullingMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and carry up to 25 lbs.Must be able to work entire season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day without any vacation, or time away from work.Must be 16 years of ageEducation & ExperienceEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent (we also accept high school juniors and seniors) Experience: One (1) year of housekeeping and / or similar experience preferred Resort / National Park Concession experience preferredHourly rate of pay $16.00All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
