JBay, LLC strives to provide extraordinary hospitality for members of its beach clubs in Breezy Point, NY and are looking for variable (seasonal) associates to join our talented teams for the upcoming 2024 Summer Season. This is a seasonal position and the anticipated first day of work is in May 2024 and the last day is estimated to be in September 2024. Grounds & Public Area SupervisorResponsibilitiesWork with management to determine schedules and delegate work flow and instructions to cleaning staff on a daily basis (ex: stocking closets, refill their closets with items for the next work day) Supervising the daily cleaning of assigned tasks, while working alongside staff to ensure the high standards of cleanliness as set forth. Follow/lead the schedule of tasks to be completed on a daily basis due to needsContinuously seek and make improvements to the overall sanitizing functions Ensure all staff performing sanitizing functions are properly trained in technique, quality, efficiency and safety Interact with management to maintain supply levels, and informing them accordingly when supplies need to be ordered; fill out work orders when required.Deep cleaning of rooms during slow times and as needed.Report maintenance issues and damages promptly to supervisorAddress guest requests in a conscientious, courteous polite manner at all times.Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective EquipmentFollow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiativesAll other duties as may be assignedRequirementsMust be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shiftsMust be able to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned tasksMust be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pullingMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and carry up to 25 lbs.Must be 18 years of ageEducation & ExperienceEducation: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: One (1) year of housekeeping and / or similar experience preferred Resort / National Park Concession experience preferredHourly rate of pay $18.00 / $20.00 - based upon experience.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
