The Inspired Community Project Community Behavior Technician Apprentice in Bronx, New York
The Inspired Community Project proudly offers New York State's first-ever Behavioral Health Apprenticeship Program, a unique opportunity for individuals to train under experienced professionals and work towards certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This role is a growth-oriented position within our Training & Excellence (T&E) Program, housed in the Clinical Department. As a Behavior Technician (BT) apprentice, you'll receive hands-on training and mentorship from seasoned professionals in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), allowing you to build practical expertise through direct involvement in real-world applications.Throughout the training program, you'll progress through comprehensive learning modules designed to deepen your understanding of ABA principles. After each module, you'll demonstrate your mastery by completing competency exams. By the end of the T&E Program, you will have met all the requirements for RBT training and be fully prepared to sit for the licensing exam and obtain your certification.Upon successful graduation from the T&E Program and passing the RBT certification exam, you will have the option to continue your journey with us as a full-time salaried staff member, or we will support your transition to other organizations, ensuring you have the resources and connections needed to thrive in your career. For those who are already Registered Behavior Technicians, we offer salaried positions with opportunities for career advancement, including pathways into teaching or becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
