Good Shepherd Services Trip Aide (Summer Camp): Monterey Cornerstone Community Center in Bronx, New York
The Summer Camp Trip Aide supports and assists staff in carrying out all planned enrichment and recreational activities for our Summer Camp program in the Bronx
Reports to: Program Director
Location: 2100 Monterey Avenue, Bronx, NY 10457
Hours: Up to 18 hours per week
Assist the group leader with activities, including sports and recreation, educational, arts and craft and special events.
Collect attendance folder and other data.
Distribute lunches and snacks and assist with clean-up.
Assist with monitoring and maintaining the rules of the program.
Support activity instructor with lessons.
Must demonstrate reliable and consistent work habits, and ability to work with other youth.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic team environment.
Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based and/or youth development perspective.
