We are looking for an intelligent, positive, and self-motivated individual who can work independently in a demanding environment as a Merchandise Planner to provide coverage while members of our team are on parental leave. This position will run from March 2021 through December 2021 and be reviewed in January 2022 with the potential to become permanent.


  • Analyze historical data and develop seasonal merchandise plans and purchasing strategies.

  • Re-forecast business in-season to maintain strong stock position while minimizing overstocks.

  • Communicate and problem-solve with vendors on a consistent basis.

  • Participate in developing processes that build efficiencies and streamline work.

  • Work cohesively as part of a tight-knit, detail-oriented team.

  • Communicate with multiple departments and team members on merchandise and vendor issues.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Merchandise Planning or related operations/analytical experience.

  • Experience with allocation across multiple warehouses.

  • Past success in managing vendor relationships.

  • Excellent Excel skills.

  • Outstanding organizational skills.

  • Comfortable with short deadlines and occasional high stress environments.

  • A track-record of exceeding expectations.

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong written and verbal skills

  • Preventative problem-solving

  • A love of math and working with numbers

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks with a proven ability to meet hard deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
