Marketing Analytics Senior Manager

The opportunity

You'll focus on customizing our approaches to the unique needs of our clients, with a focus on delivering insights that are contextual, human-centered and constantly evolving.

Your Key Responsibilities

We are looking for Marketing Analytics Senior Managers who will be responsible for advising our clients to reshape and transform their customer experiences through analytics in order to deepen customer relationships and improve overall business performance. While the individual assignments will vary depending on client needs, you should expect to be responsible for a wide range of strategic activities which will likely include:

  • Engage directly with client stakeholders and executives to help define their marketing analytics vision, strategy, and roadmap, with supporting business case

  • Analyze existing platforms, tools, and processes in the client's digital ecosystem, and recommend innovative, implementable solutions as appropriate based on business and customer needs

  • Assess client operating models, identifying gaps, and making recommendations for future improvement

  • Be an inclusive team leader, capable of aligning the right talent with the right opportunity, troubleshooting delivery challenges and acting as a champion for your team

  • Generate new business opportunities. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs

  • End-to-end engagement lifecycle management, include: origination, scoping, contracting, governance, closing, staffing, and management of both team and financial performance, in addition to any compliance activities required by the scope of work or client

Skills and Attributes For Success

  • Collaborate across disciplines while maintaining high standards for sound analytics methodology

  • Contribute to the development of our marketing analytics team; drive the collaborative efforts of the project's cross-functional team

  • Maintain long-term client relationships and networks and support business development opportunities

  • You have a bias for action and are able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining the highest degree of quality

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, statistics, marketing, business or related disciplines

  • A minimum of ten years of post-degree work experience; five or more years must relate to marketing analytics, digital marketing, and/or ecommerce/retail analytics (preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated experience leading analytics teams)

  • Digital thought leader with a solid understanding of the industry including technology, challenges, leading practices, and trends

  • Experience scoping, staffing and managing large projects with cross-functional teams

  • Extensive experience in the development of executive presentations and deliverables, comfortable carrying out detailed analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to identify and present key themes and trends in a highly consumable format

  • A solid grasp of marketing analytics best practices (e.g. segmentation, sound measurement strategies, effective data visualization, etc.)

  • A valid driver's license in the US; willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs

Ideally, you'll also have

  • MBA degree preferred

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
