Brooklyn Solarworks LLC Marketing Coordinator in Brooklyn, New York

About the Position: Brooklyn SolarWorks is seeking a creative & enthusiastic individual to join our growing company. The incumbent will need to possess a strong sense & awareness of marketing trends, software optimization, & brand awareness. This position will play a crucial part in advertising, social media content, & planning events for company outreach. They will be required to provide support to the Content Manager on all departmental matters. The individual must possess strong oral & written communication, customer communication & the ability to work in a fast-paced & high demand setting. Responsibilities: - Manage all social channels (Twitter, FB, Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin, etc.) & maintain a calendar for upcoming content. - Create engaging visual content around solar energy & sustainability in NYC, & interact regularly w/our following. - Stay on top of social media culture, content trends & new platforms, continually strategizing how to evolve our brand voice & storytelling. - Use graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator & InDesign to create promotional graphics, customer-facing materials, & internal resources, ensuring adherence to our brand & style guidelines. - Blog ideation, research, & writing, using SEO best practices & conformance w/our brand voice. - Support w/securing community events throughout the year, particularly during the spring & summer street fair season, & planning company-hosted events year-round. - Update, create posts, & secure customer reviews on Google My Business, Yelp, & other business listings. - Maintain & organize an internal library (marketing materials, photo, video). Work in conjunction with the Content Manager on organizing the Marketing Drive for ease of access and usability. - Conduct regular reporting to plan content and measure success. Track, analyze, & improve engagement metrics. - Create monthly newsletters for customers, & coordinate w/department heads to create a quarterly company-wide newsletter. Skills/Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree required - 2 Years of marketing exp. required - An expansive, in-depth knowledge & understanding of various marketing tools & processes, including but not limited to: social media, media buying, SEO/SEM, email marketing, media relations, branding, & analytics - Strong writing abilities; experience w/opywriting for various marketing purposes, including website, social media, advertising, & email - Organized, communicative, & manages time efficiently.
