AHRC New York City Schools are seeking an ABA Teacher for their state approved private special education school, Francis of Paola Early Learning Center, serving students with disabilities located in Brooklyn. 12 month school calendar including a 30 day Summer Session (July 2nd –August 10th)

AHRC New York City’s Preschool Programs are designed specifically for students’ age 3-5 that are diagnosed as a preschooler with a disability and or autism. This current opportunity is in an ABA classroom at the following location:

  • Francis of Paola Early Learning Center-Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY

Our Preschool Special Education Teachers will develop an Individualized Education Plan for each student, assess the students' needs and capabilities, and prepare a daily schedule/lesson plan for each student that reflects the IEP. Teachers will also be responsible for supervising classroom teaching assistants and 1:1 aides. ABA teachers, or Behavior Trainers, are responsible for completing behavior assessments and writing behavior plans, discreet trials, data collection and progress reporting for students with autism.

Bachelors or Masters in Special Education or Early Childhood Education and Certification in Students with Disabilities Birth to 2nd Grade required.

Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) experience required.

Salary range $55,125.00-$60,000.00
