The Union Beer Distributors Summer Internship is designed to introduce college students to a Distribution driven environment within a dynamic, fast paced organization. The goal of the internship is to expose interns to real-world work experiences in Sales, Logistics, Warehousing, and Delivery in preparation for a successful career in Distribution.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Database Maintenance - Collect and enter retailer and product information into system database, ensure accuracy of

    records.
  • Customer Service – Answer daily Customer Service email inquiries and assist as needed.

  • Order Entry – Enter and modify daily Sales orders to be routed

  • Order Processing – Verify and process all electronic orders daily, resolve open issues with the Sales and Logistics teams.

  • Hardware/Software Support – Assist with all Hardware and Software troubleshooting, inquiries, and initial setup for the Sales teams.

  • Sales Reporting – Run sales, inventory, and Ad-Hoc reports for the Sales and Marketing departments.

  • Setup new Accounts/Users – Create new vendor accounts in our Route Accounting Software and setup new users for our web portal.

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or registered student in good standing at an accredited college or university.

  • At least 18 years of age at the start of the internship

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.), Adobe, and G Suite (Sheets, Forms, Doc, Slides, etc.) preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Ability and willingness to work independently
