The opportunity
The Technology Solutions Delivery practice offers global and regional financial services clients the assistance needed to improve their performance in a rapidly changing business environment. We assemble experienced multidisciplinary teams, use consistent and proven global methodologies and draw on the full breadth of EY’s global reach, depth of capabilities and knowledge. Collectively, the group has a comprehensive skill set, which supports the delivery of operations, technology, compliance, and risk projects for top clients in the U.S. financial services industry. Over the last several years, the Banking Team has played leadership roles in delivering complex digital development, business/ technology transformation, platform modernization, operations redesign and restructuring initiatives. Collectively, these projects span the consumer and wholesale, banking industries.
Your key responsibilities
The Senior Consultant will take direction and guidance from both project team and client resources and 1.) perform tasks to prepare and complete work products, and 2) delegate tasks to more junior level resources and manage the ground-level activities of the team to bring work products to completion. A Senior Consultant is also expected to contribute to internal EY initiatives, in addition to client facing work, to further the development of our brand, our business and our people.

To qualify for the role you must have
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following competencies and knowledge that align with the TSD Banking and Capital Markets practice, but experience in all is not expected at this level. Core Consulting skills are mandatory for a Senior level candidate. Examples below are not all inclusive:

Mortgages, Auto, Home Equity Originations and Servicing
Deposit and Loan Operations, ATM, Debit, Prepaid Cards, ACH, Wires
Treasury Management, Investments, Wholesale Credit Processes
Payment Products and Lifecycle, Payment Authorization and Clearing
Risk, Regulatory, and Strategic Oversight
Key Technology Concepts (including but not limited to):
Multiple facets of the software development life-cycle in a range of methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, etc.), focused on either solution architecture, requirements definition, UX / UI design, systems analysis, technical design, data analysis, testing and implementation
Business architecture domains and exposure to industry frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, BIAN)
Documenting business and system requirements as well as functional specifications
SDLC/agile supporting the implementation of vendor packages
Execution across all SDLC/agile delivery functions supporting the implementation of vendor packages for Core Banking (e.g., Lending, Deposit Vendor Solutions)
An understanding of the following key technology concepts (including but not limited to):
Enterprise Application Architecture
Microservices / Microapps
Service Oriented Architecture
PaaS / BaaS / SaaS / IaaS
Mobile Technology

What we look for
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience* and may have backgrounds in Consulting, IT Services, or from an industry field, with a focus on Banking, Lending, Payments and Capital Markets. Preference is prior internal or external consulting experience and a degree in computer science, engineering, finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree.
