Position Summary:

The School of Engineering & Applied Sciences is hiring an Assistant Manager for Research Administration. The Assistant Manager for Research Administration will work under the supervision of the Senior Manager for Research Administration in supporting the pre- and post-award efforts of funded faculty in the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Duties include:

  • supporting grant-funded recruitment,

  • appointment processing (student, staff and faculty),

  • processing participant stipends,

  • fellowships and tuition scholarships,

  • processing summer stipends and

  • assisting in equipment procurement for grant-supported purchases.

The incumbent will also assist in budget management and reporting requirements for individual faculty and the department as a whole.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required with demonstrated ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines. At least one year of experience in an administrative support position is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree preferred. Experience using eptf, UBJobs, SIRI and CLICK is strongly preferred.
