Cannon Design Consultant - Entry Level in Buffalo, New York

We are looking for individuals who love numbers and data and obsess about different ways to approach a problem or gain insight into operational challenges using data. We want people who can run intricate models with ease for all types of common and uncommon information. If so, this is the perfect job for you! We need someone who can think critically; who understands both the content and the context of analytical models and can explain the "why" along with the "how." We do not want you to just run numbers; we want you to use your knowledge and models to illustrate everything we aren't thinking about because we are not as skilled as you in analytics. Our team works with organizational leaders to define their ideal future and plan processes, organizational strategies, equipment and facilities to create an ideal future, and our projects are anchored by any of the following services: strategic transformation, design thinking, space and functional programming, operational planning, change management, and transition and activation planning. ABOUT THE ROLE The entry-level Consultant is responsible primarily for working with project leadership and other project staff to support all aspects of planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of projects. WHAT YOU WILL DO Support project staff and project leadership in all aspects of planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of a project and anticipation of needs as driven by project work plans. Produce project documentation, research briefs, meeting materials, data analysis, graphics, best practice presentations, benchmark info and interim and final deliverables. Travel as required by project/client needs. ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree by hire date. Demonstrated ability to work in PowerPoint, create detailed workflows in Visio, and quantitative strengths in the creation of detailed analytical models using Excel and various tool is a must. Experience and wizardry in visualization of data using Tableau, PowerBi, or similar tools preferred. Candidate must have the ability to work independently and to manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment. Production of thought leadership papers, presentations, blogs, case studies, and presence at national conferences/meetings are preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. As a Federal Contractor, CannonDesign is required to comply with President Biden's Executive Order 14042. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
