Within Rich's, as a hybrid group of Automation Engineers and Software Developers, the MES Team has a unique responsibility to support manufacturing systems while also delivering innovations to stay on the forefront of the constantly changing, data driven manufacturing world. Our team truly believes in our co-op program as a two-way street. We view the journey just as important as the work; we love to help our co-op students feel valued, both contributing to the team while also gaining experience.

Term will be double block Spring-Summer 2021.
Due to COVID-19, this is a remote position for (at least) the first few months of the term.
Project manage refrigeration-based energy savings projects
Provide technical analysis on IS/automation project implementations
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing manufacturing systems to ensure proper operation
Develop and technical support documentation for your implemented MES systems
Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related engineering discipline
Ability to learn and execute in a project management role, working with stakeholders in different parts of the business
Willingness to learn how to communicate well with business leaders; comfortable in a public speaking/presentation position
Strong PC skills, proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (O365, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
Demonstrates time management, organizational skills
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Familiar with PLC programming, SDADA systems, Windows Server environments
Allen-Bradley, ControlLogix, Wonderware, SQL Database, Networking concepts
Previous Co-op experience
