Brief Job Description

There are two positions available:

Tuition Scholarship is available in additional to a stipend. Details to be discussed during interview.

Position: Continual Support

Facilitate individualized support meetings for participating second semester students

Facilitate workshops and events focused on students with disabilities

Coordinate the Peer Mentor component of the Continual Support Program

Assist in the coordination of the Summer Transition Program (when applicable)

Other duties as assigned

Position: Content Accessibility Support

Collaborate with SAS professional and campus equity to establish and promote disability advocacy programs on campus

Support Electronic Information and Technology Accessibility on campus by learning to create accessible content and help faculty with content remediation

Recruit and train student groups to help the university’s mission on diversity, inclusion and accessibility

Assist in developing summer programs for students with disabilities.

Required Qualifications

Current or entering full-time (6 credit hours) matriculated graduate student at Buffalo State College.
