The Line Cook is responsible for planning and setting-up their station to provide quality service in all areas of food production and is responsible for cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items and specials in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. The Line Cook will also maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

Job Duties:
*Daily responsibilities include tasks related to opening service stations on the line, preparing all menu items according to recipe requirements, and adherence to product sensitivity, sanitation, and plate *presentation guidelines.
*Reads tickets entered by staff and verifies orders, cook times, special requests, and allergies
*Coordinates ticket timing with service/kitchen staff and managers
*Properly and promptly cooks or prepares menu items for delivery to guests
*Keeps updated on recipe changes and ensures proper execution of recipes to maintain a high quality and consistent product
*Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of service station and kitchen area throughout shift
*Completes assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station, and breaks down and clean stations thoroughly at the end of service
*Ensures proper rotation of all products to par levels through labeling, day dotting, and signing all products, or obtains Chef/Manager signature on all required products

Education/ Experience:
*1+ year of experience in a professional kitchen setting (line, prep, garde manger, partie, etc.)
*Previous line cook experience preferred (saute, grill, cold apps, hot apps, pastry, etc.)
*Culinary arts degree preferred, High School Diploma required

Required Skills/Abilities:
*Must have excellent English communication skills, possess the ability to multitask, take direction
*Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in clean, company approved uniform at all times.
*Adherence to Company alcoholic beverage policies.
*Adherence to all Company and Safety Policies and Procedures.

Schedule Requirements:
*Schedule may fluctuate based on departmental requirements
*This is a seasonal position.
