We are growing and looking to add a Manufacturing Supervisor to our team.

This position is full time on 1st shift position with benefits eligibility soon after your first day!
The work you'll do:
Be a safety leader by ensuring all teammates are performing their jobs safely above all else.
Apply daily engineering tactical skills to manage the manufacturing processes and our teammates to deliver high customer satisfaction and on-time delivery performance.
Coach and develop manufacturing teammates to maximize their effectiveness and to identify and develop high potential employees to assume greater responsibilities.
Develop standard work and ensure team members are properly trained and adhere to standard work.
Approve and enter time off requests in payroll system; approve weekly labor hours for payroll.
Work with head of human resources to properly address and solve personnel conflicts in an effective and timely manner. Issue disciplinary warnings, as necessary.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Sales to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Provides feedback given on Customer Complaint Log to team members to facilitate information sharing and help drive continuous improvement.

Skills and experience you'll need:
Leadership in lean manufacturing principles; 5S, Daily Management, Visual Management and Variation reduction techniques to deliver customer schedules on-time, while reducing scrap, improving external DPM, and manufacturing productivity.
Staffing level planning to achieve effective on-time delivery.
Ability to maintain a good working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
Proficient with technology, able to utilizes and create documents in the Conax Technologies Wiki and regularly utilize MS Excel and Word.
Prior experience with leading teams or supervising others.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse workforce.
Must have strong sense of urgency and ability to handle a variety of tasks and change.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an engineering discipline
