What will my day look like?

  • Provides direction and oversight of administrative functions for Terrace House to program directors, operation managers, clinicians, treatment assistants, and patients for daily operational needs

  • Provides efficient handling of administrative duties (answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, patient processing, filing, etc.)

  • Provides timely, courteous, and knowledgeable responses to information requests – transfers calls when appropriate and prepares correspondence (i.e., record requests, patient letters)

  • Competently performs all job duties with sensitivity and attention to the residential population served

  • Maintains proper record keeping of service agreements with outside facilities, volunteer programs, etc.

  • Properly handles incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries that come into the facility

Location

Conveniently located on Elm Street in downtown Buffalo, Terrace House is a 68-bed facility offering stabilization and medically-supervised detox treatment. We provide twenty-four hour care to adult men and women who need support, counseling, observation, nursing, and medical care to achieve initial stabilization from drug and/or alcohol withdrawal.

Hours

Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (some holidays required)

  • Availability to work some evening hours until 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM

Horizon 2021 Recruitment Bonus Program

Eligible Hires and Payment Structure:

  • Full Time hires will receive $300 after 30 days of continuously working and another $300 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $600.

  • Part Time hires will receive $150 after 30 days of continuously working and another $150 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $300.
