ABOUT THE ROLE The ideal candidate will provide support to the Specifications Team and work with other Specification Coordinators across the Firm. WHAT YOU WILL DO Works closely with the Specification Writer on each project to ensure the Project Manual is properly packaged and formatted. Assists the Specification Writer with communicating deliverable requirements and deadlines with the project team and engineering disciplines. Participate with the firm's Architectural Specifications Group and Engineers to coordinate the submission efforts across multiple offices and projects. Communicates procedures and processes with new staff and outside consultants unfamiliar with our document standards. Receive and track project Specifications from consultants and internal team members across multiple offices. Assemble and organize multiple project manuals. Participate in weekly workload meetings and Bi-Weekly Specification Group meetings. ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma. Associate degree in business or administrative office professional studies preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an administrative support professional required; prior work experience in the A/E/C industry is a plus. CDT certification is preferred. Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment and handle large volumes of documents. The ability to organize multiple projects is essential. Accuracy and strong attention to detail is a must, as well as strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, time management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam and Adobe Reader preferred. Familiarity with MasterSpec documents is preferred, familiarity with e-SPECS is a plus. As a Federal Contractor, CannonDesign is required to comply with President Biden's Executive Order 14042. The salary range for this position is $25 to $30 hourly. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
