Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Branch Manager in Canandaigua, New York

Tax Store Branch Manager: Jackson Hewitt. Make $15.50 an hour plus store commission working between December through Tax Day. Get paid $250 in the pay cycle after your start date for training. Start in-office work as early as Dec 14. You are eligible to be on our schedule the day after you complete online training with a successful PTIN and NYS registration number. We are Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, Working Hard for the Hardest Working. Jackson Hewitt offers training related to income tax preparation and the delivery of excellent customer service. Responsibilities include supervising one or more seasonal hourly staff members at a single location or kiosk, developing, reviewing, approving and monitoring office work schedules and hours worked. Branch Manager monitors associate performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems, furnishes taxpayers with sufficient information and advice to ensure correct tax form completion, answers questions and provides future tax planning to clients, researches tax related questions and issues, and responds to clients appropriately and within a timely manner, resolves client complaints, or refers situations to supervisor, audits tax return forms for accuracy and completeness (e.g., client signatures).

Qualifications: Candidate must have prior Management experience and a High School Degree or equivalent related business experience. Course of study in tax preparation and/or accounting preferred. Valid, unexpired PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) and NYS registration number required for this position.
