Position Information
Position Title General Laborer
FLSA Non-Exempt
Primary Responsibilities
To perform work required in the care, maintenance, cleaning and housekeeping of all University buildings in accordance with established practices and procedures and responds to emergency calls through the campus for various custodial needs. On occasion, as required, performs the primary duties of other A classification personnel as assigned by the management staff. High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
Flexible Schedule:
Days working: Monday through Friday; 11:30pm – 8am
Days off: Saturday and Sunday
Location: Carnegie, Hepburn, Gunnison Chapel, and as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be able to meet University requirements to be authorized to drive University vehicles as assigned.
Requires lifting a minimum of 45 lbs
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Cleaning experience
Salary SEIU Level A: $15 to $19.98/hr. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
