Position Title Graduate Assistant Coach for Men's & Women's Golf

Primary Responsibilities
St. Lawrence University is currently seeking applicants for a Graduate Assistant Coach for Men’s & Women’s Golf. This 9-month position is targeted toward graduate students seeking a master’s degree. Remuneration includes a competitive coaching stipend, student health insurance, and eligibility for tuition remission (6 graduate classes per year in the University’s graduate program).
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing instruction and assisting in practice preparation, game day duties, recruiting, and administrative tasks as assigned by the Head Coach.
Playing and practice privileges are available at the Oliver Appleton Golf Course owned by St. Lawrence University during the Summer Months. The use of V1 Teaching Software, K-Motion, and Boditrak which is all available in the 3,000 sq. ft. St. Lawrence Golf Facility. Additional compensation opportunities may be available through group/individual lessons and camps, hosted by the Head Golf Coach.
Minimum Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary. A valid driver’s license and ability to meet the requirements to drive University vehicles required. Must apply and be accepted in the graduate program at St. Lawrence University.
Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
