About The Company

Subversive Malting + Brewing is a true farmhouse brewery located at the foot of the Catskill Mountains. Our taproom and large outdoor beer garden with a heated tent is open year round serving our own house-made beers, locally sourced smash burgers and sandwiches, as well as cocktails, wines, and ciders from other Hudson Valley producers.

Our Service Model

We are a small brewery with a kitchen, operating with a fast-casual counter service model. In peak season with our outdoor seating we have capacity for about 120 guests at a time. Customers receive a number for their food when they place their order at the bar. Food, silverware, condiments, and anything else needed for properly sharing food items is brought to their table when their food is ready. No further table service is provided.
