Farm and Field, LLC Farm laborer in Chatham, New York
1 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 03/21/2024 - 11/01/2024.
Vegetable production: plant, transplant, thin, stake and tie, irrigate, fertilize, harvest, wash, and process a diverse collection of vegetables. Crops include: Herbs, Salad greens, Peppers, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Garlic, Onions/allium family, Brassicas, Summer Squash, Winter squash, Bush beans, Root vegetables, Flowers, Berries. Maintain fencing and farm equipment. Tend a seasonal flock of chickens that are not overwintered.
Requirements: * Three months experience of the duties mentioned. * Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. * Exposure to extreme temperatures. * Extensive pushing/pulling/sitting/walking, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements.
