Position Summary
Doblin, a Deloitte business, is seeking ambitious, high-potential junior designers and researchers to join our studios, to help us imagine and bring to life future products, services, and experiences. As a Summer Scholar, you will be part of our integrated, multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to the conception, design, and launch of solutions to our clients’ most complex challenges. If you are passionate about using human-centered design or passionate about using the power of good research to tackle fuzzy and multi-faceted client problems, keep reading.

Work You’ll Do
Designer:
Support the creation of compelling and intuitive stories that are told through presentations, posters, videos, websites, and more
Develop materials that bring to life concepts and prototypes of products, services, and experiences at varying levels of fidelity to test with users and stakeholders
Support the design of engaging workshops with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders
Be involved in different aspects of the design process, including field research and the launch and scaling of solutions in-market
Work with a diverse team of experts, including from Deloitte’s global network of industry and domain experts, to amplify the impact of your work
Hone your craft and explore new design methods and tools
Support the design of client pitches and intellectual property by developing and applying a consistent and compelling visual language
Be part of a like-minded community of designers, local and global, with incredible opportunities for mentorship and career growth
Researcher:
Support the planning and execution of research activities, to uncover and validate human and business to meet your team’s research agenda
Evaluate complex qualitative and quantitative data for compelling insights by synthesizing and communicating them in ways that make clear their implications and spur innovation
Ground ideas and concepts in research insights and business needs, and use these insights to stretch the ambition of our teams and our clients
Work with your team to apply actionable insight throughout the design process, including concept and business model design, and launching and scaling solutions in-market
Support the design of engaging workshops with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders
Source data, key trends, and insight from Deloitte’s global network of industry and domain experts, to amplify the impact of your team’s work
Support the development of client pitches and intellectual property with research into trends in industries and in the fields of social science, innovation, and human-centered design

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree completed by August 2022 in a design, social science or other related field
A portfolio demonstrating strong command of composition, typography, color, and fundamental communication or examples of research plans and insights
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2)
Ability to travel up to 50% (while 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
