Aerotek Paver Operator in Clarence Center, New York

We are looking for an asphalt paver operator. Projects range are large commercial parking lots across Western NY. The candidate must be able to operate independently with in the first few weeks.


Candidates will meet at the shop in the morning and deploy from there. The shift starts at 7:00 am and trucks are on the road latest at 7:30 am. The shift will be between 8 and 12 hours depending on the weather and work conditions. Operators will be working on small crews and will be asked to manage the progress on the work site.


Paver operators will be responsible for the following:

• Performing pre and post checks on paver each day

• Ensuring the paver is clean after each day.

• Ability to use a lute rake to rake asphalt joints or pads.

• Ability to use adjustment screws to obtain proper material grade with paver.

• Assisting of loading and unloading the machine.

• Ability to develop paving layouts for commercial properties.



1. Minimum 2 seasons experience of operating a paving equipment.

2. Ability to adjust equipment on the fly and the understanding on how to make equipment adjustments to fit work site conditions.

3. Ability to manage a small crew on paving projects
